Moon Seo-yoon, scion of South Korea’s corporate dynasty as granddaughter of Shinsegae Group CEO Lee Myung-hee, is set to debut as K-pop idol “Annie” in The Black Label’s new co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT.

The 23-year-old Ivy League student – whose mother Jung Yoo-kyung leads Korea’s top luxury department store chain – will join four others when the group launches June 23, announced June 9 by the label founded by superstar producer Teddy (known for shaping BLACKPINK’s sound).

The Black Label’s talent stable includes global stars like Taeyang of BIGBANG and BLACKPINK’s Rosé.

Moon carries the legacy of Korea’s Samsung empire through her grandmother, having trained since 2022 after gaining notice as a fashion influencer (120K+ Instagram followers).

Though spotted training with The Black Label’s female recruits last year, she bypassed their September 2023 girl group debut (MIAO) for this co-ed project.

The lineup blends industry veterans: Bailey (21), a choreographer for K-pop royalty including aespa; Woochan (20), who became Korea’s youngest rap sensation at 12 on the competition show Show Me the Money (Korea’s equivalent to Rhythm + Flow); Youngseo (19), runner-up on HYBE’s idol survival show R U Next?; and model-turned-performer Tarzan (22).

The label rolled out official social channels June 9 with member teasers, as artists amplified the #ALLDAYPROJECT announcement.
