South Korean bakery franchise Paris Baguette is accelerating its North American expansion with a new store in Flower Mound, a city near Dallas, Texas. The company plans to continue opening locations across the U.S. to strengthen its dominance in the North American bakery market.
According to Flower Mound City Hall on the 14th, Paris Baguette will open its new store on June 25. This comes just five months after opening a location in Research Forest, near Houston, in January.
The Flower Mound store will be located in a shopping district packed with big-box retailers, a bicycle shop, and a drugstore. Its proximity to a veterinary hospital, bank, and fitness center is expected to draw steady foot traffic. The bakery will offer cakes, pastries, bread, and coffee, featuring a self-service central display where customers can pick their items directly.
The bakery chain has also finalized franchise deals for new stores in San Antonio, Texas; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Springfield, Virginia; and Indian Land, South Carolina.
To meet growing product demand from its North American stores, the company is also scaling up production. In February, it purchased a 1.6 million-square-foot plot in Highpoint Business Park, an industrial complex in Burleson, Texas. The project, approved by local authorities with investment incentives, involves a $160 million investment to build a bakery factory capable of producing 500 million items annually. The facility is slated for completion in the second half of 2027.
A Paris Baguette representative stated, “We currently operate over 200 stores across 29 U.S. states. To achieve our vision of 1,000 North American locations by 2030, we plan to ramp up our expansion efforts.”
